Floating Outer Disc

The patented floating rivet structure gives a large one-way movement space when the rotor meets asymmetric pad clamping during braking. Together these features form the 3D floating function, which reduces operating abnormalities, suppresses high-temperature deformation and increases durability.

Patented Elastic Disc Ribs

ABSOLUTE's 3D floating rotor differs from conventional two-piece rotors in two ways: a partially elastic outer disc and the floating rivet structure. Patented open cuts on 6 of the 12 outer-disc ribs give the disc flexibility, while the other 6 solid ribs keep its rigidity.

3D floating combines a patented floating rivet structure with a partially elastic outer disc (open cuts on 6 of 12 ribs). This lets the disc flex and self-align under braking, suppressing high-temperature deformation and noise while keeping rigidity, for stronger and more durable braking on all bikes including e-bikes.

What sizes and mount does the AB-06 come in?
