The AVA Cycling Presta Valve Cap and Stem Set is a 45mm tubeless valve stem machined from anodised 6061 aluminium, designed for rims 15mm to 30mm deep. The dust cap is dual-function: flip it sideways and it becomes a valve core remover, so you can top up sealant without carrying a separate tool. 10g per pair including caps.

The AVA 45mm Presta valve stem is designed for rims between 15mm and 30mm deep. This leaves enough thread exposed above the rim to fit a pump head securely, while the valve is long enough to seat properly through the rim bed.
How do I remove the valve core with this valve stem?
Unscrew the dust cap, turn it sideways, and fit the slot over the flats of the valve core. Turn anticlockwise to remove the core. No separate valve core tool is required, which makes roadside sealant top-ups possible.
